About Us
Our story begins back in 2008 when Dirk (the founder) worked as a freelancer in the events industry, specialising as a sound engineer. Ambitious to succeed, he decided to combine his project management degree with he’s experience as sound engineer and set up Pineapple Productions to be a fresh and energised events’ production company that would provide an outstanding service to both corporate and private clients. His years of experience and flair for business has elevated the company to another level. Having come from a background in theatre, festivals and live bands, his pragmatic approach and ear for detail are unparalleled and what differentiates Pineapple from all competitors.
Pineapple Productions were incorporated into Pineapple Group (Pty) Ltd in 2017 and the company has grown consistently each year through continued reinvestment in sister companies, personnel, products and services. With a team of professionals and our move to a new warehouse and office space in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town, we are positive and excited about our future.
